245Darkness shrouded the end of my patio as I glanced out early one morning, reminding me that God plans my life that way. Just illuminating a short ways at a time as I need it, because if I can’t see very far ahead and the way is dark, I have to lean upon Him to guide me.

Just like it says in 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

When someone I know is seriously ill, I have to believe that the Lord knows what He is doing, and He does all things well.

Like when the doctor diagnosed my daughter, who lived on the opposite coast from me, with breast cancer, and I couldn’t run next door and see how she was doing.

Sometimes the Lord plops us down and says, “You need to wait and trust.”

Yes, Proverbs 3: 5-6 took on new meaning. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Ladies, what area is the Lord asking you to turn over to Him?
