The Widow’s Zone

Dear Widowed Friend,

Are you asking yourself, “Why am I still on earth- alone”? If so, This site is for you!

Many widows ask that question everyday, and it deserves a good, authoritative answer.

Would it make sense, after reading 2 Timothy 1:9, to apply it to your situation?

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.”

The answer to “why me?” makes total sense when I insert my name into this verse. The Lord saved Joyce, (forgave her sins when I asked Him to as a young girl) and He has given Joyce the purpose for her life that He designed before the world began.

How exciting is that?

Try it friend, it will also work for you.

This site is built to encourage widows to move forward with spiritual helps, to come out victorious on the hardest trip they have ever experienced; widowhood. The best way to describe it is that our world turned upside down.

Please join us as we feel sad, glad, cry, laugh, move through depression or rejoice together. Our feelings are all intertwined and bound up inside of us, begging to explode.

The longer I am a widow, I realize that there is joy in each day and I need to live it with purpose-His purpose. It totally changed my outlook when I began each day by asking Him what He wanted me to do for the day.

If you aren’t sure just how to pray, simply bow your head and talk to the Lord like you do your friend. He will listen. Begin by telling Him that you realize that you are a sinner and thank Him for dying for you. Ask Him to take control of your life and help you to fulfill His purpose. As your Heavenly Father, He will be delighted to do just that-after all, He created us!

Please feel free to join The Widow’s Zone Facebook page:

We need each other! Blessings to each of you.
